2 cups of basmati rice
6 cups of water
2 tsp organic turmeric powder
Pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt
2 tsp. of herb mix ( Use your favorite herb blend )
- Wash the rice off in cold water and set aside.
- Boil the water in a large sauce pan on a medium fire. Once the water starts boiling add the rice, 1 tsp. of herbs and salt.
- Check the rice very 15 minutes to verify if the rice grains are soft to the touch. Once the grains are soft drain off any excess water and allow to cool and continue cooking.
- Garnish with the remaining herbs.
